December 1, 2009 - Former Governor Howard Dean visited with members of the Springfield Area Parent Child Center's New Building Campaign Committee at the Learning Partners Child Center. A long-time supporter of Parent Child Centers throughout the state, Dean expressed appreciation for the work being done for families in the Springfield area. "This Center has been doing great work despite the severe space limitations. So I'm excited to be supporting your efforts to get the new building underway," he said. Dean met with the group and later toured the Learning Partners Child Center where the kids showed off their artwork. Governor Dean also recorded a public service announcement urging support for the new building campaign. "I'm proud to support the Parent Child Center and I hope all the area communities will too." |
